Morocco, the country with the most AHA accredited airports
15 of the 22 airports in the Kingdom of Morocco have joined the list of airports that have received the “Airport Health Accreditation” (AHA), issued by the Airports Council International (ACI).
These are the airports of Marrakech-Menara, Casablanca-Mohammed V, Agadir-Al Massira, Rabat-Salé, Oujda-Angad, Fez-Saïs, Tangier-Ibn Batouta, Ouarzazate, Nador-El Aroui, Essaouira-Mogador, Al Hoceima-Chérif El Idrissi, Errachidia-Moulay Ali Chérif, Tetouan-Saniat R’mel, Dakhla, and Laâyoune-Hassan 1er.
With this large number of certified airports, Morocco tops the list of countries with the most AHA-accredited airports, ahead of South Africa, which has 10.
Created to assess the health measures deployed by airports to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, this accreditation, comes to congratulate the efforts made by the Office National des Aéroports (ONDA) to comply with the international recommendations defined by the working group on the restart of aviation of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
